Privacy policy
Last updated 24 August 2026
Pixelith is a sole proprietorship operated by Marnu Mostert, based in South Africa and serving clients internationally. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What this website collects
Nothing automatically. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no tracking pixels or advertising scripts. You can visit it without leaving us anything.
Two exceptions, both unavoidable and both standard:
- Server logs. Our host, Vercel Inc., records the usual request data — IP address, time, page requested, browser type — for security and to keep the service running. We do not use these logs for marketing and do not combine them with anything else.
- Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. We use no other third-party asset host.
What you give us deliberately
If you complete the audit form or email us, we receive what you send: usually your website address, industry, what you want the site to achieve, what is wrong with the site you have, an indication of budget, your email address and — if you choose — your phone number.
The form does not post to a server. It opens an email in your own mail programme, which you send yourself. Nothing reaches us until you press send, and you can see exactly what is being sent before you do.
What we do with it
- Answer you, and prepare the audit you asked for.
- Quote, plan and deliver work if you decide to go ahead.
- Keep records of work done and payments, as any business must.
We do not sell your information, rent it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Where it is held
- Email — Microsoft 365, on the domain pixelithagency.com.
- Hosting — Vercel Inc., which serves this site and keeps its logs.
- Client work — project files are held on our own equipment and, where a project requires it, in services we tell you about before we use them.
Because we operate from South Africa and use United States providers, information you send crosses borders. Sending us an enquiry means accepting that.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months. Records for clients are kept for five years after the last piece of work, which is what tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are obliged to keep it.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Write to hello@pixelithagency.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, or covered by South Africa's POPIA, these rights are yours by law; we apply the same standard to everyone regardless.
Children
This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly slipped in.
